Graphics Production Assistant
Expand International is a global company and the world's largest manufacturer of portable media displays, pop ups, and banner stands. These products are used for marketing, brand-building, information & presentations.
We are seeking a Graphics Production Assistant to join our team of professionals in Stratford, CT. We need a self going and motivated person with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Lamination and trimming of graphics
- Operation of large format equipment (inkjet and dyesub printers and laminator)
- Monitors large format printer performance and conducts machine maintenance as required.
- Takes preemptive action to prevent errors and waste.
- May manage production workflow.
- Preflight of customer supplied files.
- Mounting of graphics into display hardware.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus one to three years of specialized experience required
- Experience in design or graphics software
- Proficient at craftsmanship type work
- Possesses a strong attention to detail
- Extremely organized
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of Adobe software applications
- Physical stamina sufficient to stand during entire shift, excluding rest breaks
- Physical stamina sufficient to move and lift 50 pound boxes
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
